Summer's Almost Over in Costa Rica
I live in the rain forest of Costa Rica. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest I am used to rain. The difference is that in my Costa Rican Rain Forest i rarely get cold and if I do feel cold just putting on a shirt and pair of shoes solves the problem.
What i really like is that I know there will always be water available for my use at my farm. With about 300 inches of rain per year landing on my property there is no question that I will never run out of water. Global Climate Change is affecting our corner of the planet. It used to be that I had distinct dry and wet seasons. But now these distinctions have evaporated in the past three years. We will have a week of cold wet windy weather and then suddenly two days of fierce sunny days with the most gorgeous weather in the world. Then the next day we wake in a cloud of rain.
