I just spent four days at Lomas del Mar in one of the awesome rental homes with tremendous views down to Playas del Coco and beyond. Normally i stay in the mountains because of work but I am very glad that I took the opportunity to stay in my friend's home where the weather was perfect and the scenery outstanding. From this four bedroom five bath home with swimming pool we explored the area. Nearby, less then ten minutes away was a near deserted beach with just a few hundred European tourists staying, many of the women topless as is the style on the continent.

In the evenings we went to Coco for dinner and social intercourse. Fabulous food and strangers made for a fun evening.

When we left we drove north along the coast. The first beach north of Coco is Hermosa where i was blown away by the hundreds of new homes and high-end condos everywhere. The amazing part was I saw very few people even though there must have been bedrooms for over a thousand people. This area is very modern and surely expensive and I kick myself in the ass for not buying lots there ten years ago when I had the chance. Now the land is probably a million dollars an acre.
