Retirement is the first time in our lives where we are free of the clock. And what a freedom this brings. Sure some people refuse to live without tight schedules, and these people usually do not live fulltime in Costa Rica. The old timers who love it here, all live in the moment.

The first time i retired, i was 35, after a short but succuessful carreer in computers. For two years i traveled, read books, wrote journals, and seduced beautiful women.

Soon I wore no watch. I slept until I woke, and busied myself as i felt.

Timeless existence.

We had a saying back then, "I have all the time in the world."
